1. Who we are
Little Worlds is published by DuoBox. This policy explains how information is handled when a child or parent uses the Little Worlds mobile application.
2. Information handled by Little Worlds
Little Worlds does not operate user accounts or a developer-controlled online database containing children's personal information. The app stores basic settings, learning progress, temporary ocean-access time, and purchase entitlement locally on the device.
We do not intentionally collect a child's name, email address, telephone number, precise location, contacts, photographs, camera data, microphone data, or messages.
3. Advertising
Little Worlds may offer an optional rewarded advertisement that unlocks an ocean activity for a limited time. The app uses Google AdMob and configures ad requests for child-directed treatment, non-personalized advertising, and a maximum ad-content rating of G.
Google's advertising services may process limited technical information—such as IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostics—to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and maintain security. DuoBox does not use this information to build behavioral advertising profiles of children.

4. Purchases
Parents may purchase the Little Worlds Learning Pack through Google Play. Google processes payment details; Little Worlds and DuoBox do not receive or store full payment-card information. The app receives purchase status so that purchased content can remain unlocked.
5. How information is used
- To remember learning progress and app settings.
- To unlock purchased or rewarded content.
- To provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve app functionality.
- To comply with legal and child-safety obligations.
6. Sharing
DuoBox does not sell children's personal information. Limited technical information may be processed by service providers needed to operate app features, currently Google Play Billing and Google AdMob. These providers process information under their own policies and applicable legal requirements.
7. Retention and deletion
Local progress and settings remain on the device until the app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to device backup and restore settings. Google retains information it processes according to its own retention policies. A parent may contact DuoBox with a privacy or deletion question using the email below.
8. Children's privacy
Little Worlds is designed for children and families. We seek to minimize data use and configure supported third-party services for child-directed treatment. If a parent believes a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards and minimize the information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect information appropriate to the nature of the service.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
